Meet Our Practitioners
Dr. Arulanantham Raveendrann
Dr. Raveendran is a family physician with a special interest in minor surgical procedures and medical aesthetics. After working as a consultant surgeon in Sri Lanka for five years, he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Dr. Raveendran later trained as a General Practitioner in the United Kingdom. During his training, he gained experience in ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat), Family Planning (Birth Control), Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Elderly Care and Pediatrics.
In 2012 Dr. Raveendran moved to Canada and obtained CCFP from the Canadian College of Family Physicians. He has extensive work experience in Family Medicine and an established practice in Markham. Dr. Raveendran can converse fluently in English, Tamil and Sinhala.
He was also trained in Canada in the field of non -surgical facial rejuvenation, including toxins & fillers treatments.
Sherine Raveendran
Sherine Raveendran is a plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeon with a special interest in burns and clefts. She is a Fellow of the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons and a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She is a board certified plastic surgeon in Sri Lanka and has extensive experience in reconstructive surgical procedures and burns. She underwent further training in reconstructive surgery in the United Kingdom and has worked in several prestigious hospitals in London.
Ms. Raveendran has an excellent academic record and won awards and medals during her training. She is researcher, publisher and author and has published many research papers and contributed to book chapters. She is also an invited reviewer for scientific journals and has presented in many international meetings.
During her training in the United Kingdom, Ms. Raveendran broadened her knowledge and skills in cosmetic surgery and successfully completed the Master of Science in aesthetic surgery at the Queen Mary University of London. With her extensive experience in the field of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgery, she established Toronto Medical Aesthetics.
